Tell me about your Live Illustration style?

Every portrait I create is entirely by hand, from scratch, featuring unique facial details and everyone's individual style. I love when you can recognise your loved ones, and yourselves, in your portraits! I have over 8 years experience in the Illustration industry and have developed my own unique style in this time, which is delicate and detail driven with a love for storytelling. I use a curated kit which is carefully chosen with a focus on quality materials, lightfast ratings and tools that blend harmoniously together.

I always want the very best for you, and love to see how we can elevate your event and Live Illustration experience with unique, thoughtful details, designed to be treasured and memorable.

How will my guests know what to do for the Guest Illustration package?

I will provide a personalised sign showcasing how live Illustration works, your guests can watch the painting as it happens if they wish, and have a look at other people's portraits too. Standing and watching is not expected but definitely welcome. Photos can be taken of your guests to create an album I can work from, in order to make the most of the time you have booked for.

How many guest portraits can you create?

The amount of portraits I can complete per hour depends on a few things:

1. Details involved (detailed attire and props can require more time!)

2.  The layout of your portraits

3. Guest uptake - though Live Illustration has always been well received!

 

I aim for 30+ guests per 4 hour booking, with this figure depending on the above and logistics of the day. The priority is always- as many as possible to create a memorable experience for your guests.

Your guests can collect their paintings from the stand once they have finished drying, or we can create a special reveal moment on the day where everyone can receive their portrait together.

Will you have time to illustrate all my guests?

I aim to illustrate as my guests as I can possibility fit in your time frame, and even more/all if you add studio time! Just like photos, there may be guests who would prefer to observe rather than take part. You are welcome to add on studio time too for larger wedding guest lists, and I can illustrate after the event! In my experience of Live Illustration at all types of events, there is always lots of demand and enthusiasm from guests! I highly recommend adding studio time for larger guest lists.​

Does the guest illustrations package include an illustration of us?

Absolutely, I can prioritise time within your booking to capture the happy couple on your day, it's important you have a portrait too! If you have added studio time to your booking, I complete the newlyweds' portrait in this time to capture those intricate details.

Do you cover my area?

I cover the UK! Travel is included in the cost for most parts of England, with an additional cost for those locations that require multiple days travel/accommodation. I always confirm this upon enquiry, so there are no hidden travel costs.

Can we book you for a shorter/longer time?

For local weekday/evening only bookings, I may be able to offer a shorter package. I can also increase timings and add studio time to your booking, as well as blend components from different packages to suit your event!

What do you need to illustrate at my event?

I require a table and chair, and a plug socket. That's all!

Can I add on X to my package?

Absolutely, that's what the bespoke pathway is for! I adore making personalised changes for special moments that mean the most to you. Whether that's custom papers, adding on studio time illustrations, something more immersive, please reach out and lets see what we can do!​
